Residence Club of Argentina – A Great Way To Vacation

Palermo Tower, Buenos AiresA good friend of ours, Eddie Rubio, recently launched his latest project in Argentina – Residence Club of Argentina.

The Residence Club of Argentina (RCA) is a multi-location equity residence club, which basically means you can buy into their three amazing Argentina locations at a fraction of the cost of owning property and with much less of the headache. Joining RCA means that you’ll get 45 guaranteed days per year with the option to add more based on availability. And, their locations are very high-end , including:

Auberge du Vin, MendozaYou couldn’t ask for better locations in Argentina than these three, plus you’ll also get your own club concierge, pre-arrival provisioning service, housekeeping, bell service and private RCA staff. You can also exchange your lodging privileges with other residence club members through the Elite Alliance exchange program.

As the project has just launched, they are currently offering Founders Pricing opportunities for $49,500 with financing available. The other great thing is that you can handle the transaction completely in the United States which means no dealing with the hassle of getting money into Argentina. Own A Piece of Mendoza – An Investment With Great Potential

Condominium Hotel DevelopmentWe wanted to let everyone know about a project that a friend and business associate of ours is doing in Mendoza, Argentina. After building two condo-hotel properties in Buenos Aires, Palermo Place and Palermo Tower, he has turned his attention to Mendoza where he is building his next property – Auberge du Vin.

Auberge du Vin is a luxury private residence and condominium-hotel development located in Valle du Uco, Mendoza, in the heart of Argentina’s wine country. This environmentally responsible property features 24-hour reception lobby, gift shop, restaurant and bar, wine cellar, business center, solarium, terrace with fire pits, indoor/outdoor pool, gardens, golf and polo club, laundry and more.

Renders of the hotel rooms at Auberge du Vin, MendozaThere are currently 8 units remaining in pre-sale out of the original 28. This is an excellent opportunity to invest in a hard asset with the opportunity for a great rate of return. Plus, you get the opportunity to use your unit whenever you want and membership in the Tupungato Winelands Golf and Polo Clubs, Burco Club and the Tupungato Winelands Wine Club. In addition, you’ll have common ownership of the vineyard with the other owners which will give you an annual allocation of wine which you can private label as your own.

Personally, we’ve been very happy with the Palermo Place Hotel and have taken the opportunity to be a part of this new project as well. If you’d like more details, you can check out this overview of the project or send them an email.

La Plata National Wine Festival

Last night I attended my first Expat Connection event, the La Plata National Wine Festival in La Plata, Argentina. About twenty people met at a wine shop in Buenos Aires for some champagne and picada before hoping on a chartered bus out to La Plata. Once there, 60 Argentinean wineries presented 350+ of their finest wines for tasting. There were some great selections and I’m definitely looking forward to planning a trip to Mendoza and Salta soon to tour some of the wineries in person.

You can check out a quick video I shot of the wine festival below.
