Graham Crackers!

It’s always nice to find flavors of home in import-adverse Argentina, whether it be peanut butter, maple syrup, pretzels, or whatever else you may miss…

This week I happened to find graham crackers in Buenos Aires. Ok, so maybe not graham crackers exactly, but these Quaker honey crackers are pretty damn close to the real thing.

Now it’s time to get making some pie crusts and smores!

Ahh, who am I kidding… I’ll just eat them from the pack, especially since marshmallows and Hershey’s chocolate bars are non-existent here.

I would think this would make a good pie crust, and you could make something resembling key lime pie… or maybe dulce de leche pie?

Marshmallows and Hershey’s chocolate bars non-existent? What are you even talking about? Do you live under a rock?
Jesus, I bet you don’t even know what fucking Chinatown is. Always sad to see idiots complaining about stuff like this, wouldn’t be surprised to find out you only visited like two stores in the entire city.
You can find pretty much ANYTHING in BA, you just have to know where to look. Only going to that Carrefour Express next to your apartment won’t help.

    • Hey troll, I’m in Chinatown a lot and they don’t exist. Oh wait, I did buy my daughter colored marshmallows there one time. That’s not the kind I’m talking about. Also, never once saw Hershey’s. Why don’t you go back under the rock you crawled out from. And no, you cannot find ANYTHING in BA, no matter what you say.

You just save me. I live here in Argentina and I wanted to know the alternative to graham crackers that I can find here. So I can make pie crust like the ones I just to buy back in the 90’s from Betty Crockers instant desserts.
You know, in Jumbo and Disco supermarkets you can find hersheys and true marshmallows, but not all the stores have the same stock. Even in some Falabellas on shoppings they have food from around the world. Its not all in China Town.
And don’t listen to trolls and haters. Thanks for your post!!
And excuse my poor english 🙂

Awesome, thanks! I was just looking for a substitute for graham crackers. Tried these but it didn’t quite work! Pete
