There’s a good amount of well-deserved negative press regarding Argentina’s failed economic policies and its world standing after defaulting on its debt obligations in 2001. In fact, most people in Argentina are just waiting for the next financial meltdown to happen here. (Argentines say to expect one at least every 10 years, so this one is overdue.)
That’s what makes the following video from The Young Turks all the more interesting. It’s an attack on the vulture capitalists who bought up Argentina’s debt for pennies on the dollar and are now demanding repayment in full and smearing Argentina in the process. I found it to be an interesting perspective that may not have been considered by everyone. Take a look and let me know what you think…
