Since I moved to Argentina in 2008, I’ve seen the opening of Starbucks, Subway, Wendy’s and most recently KFC. Well, you can now add P.F. Chang’s to the list of US-based franchises in Buenos Aires.
PF Chang’s opened their first location in Argentina yesterday in San Isidro (a trendy neighborhood about 15 minutes outside of Buenos Aires). The restaurant has the typical menu, including their famous chicken lettuce wraps. Seeing as how their Facebook page already has over 1,000 likes, I’m pretty sure this restaurant will be a success. No word yet on prices, but I can imagine that it is not cheap.
We’re planning on checking it out shortly and will report back… Rumor has it that the Cheesecake Factory is next to open a location in Argentina.
